Overview

A DeepSeek Harness plugin that provides a codebase knowledge graph and a `read_graph` tool to answer structural and dependency queries (exports, imports, dependents, unused imports) for TS/JS and Python projects.

  • Provides a single read_graph tool on ctx.tools for querying code structure and dependencies.
  • Builds an in-memory graph modeling directories, files, and exported symbols with four edge types: CONTAINS, EXPORTS, IMPORTS, IMPORTS_SYMBOL.
  • Supports queries: structure, exports <file>, imports_of <file>, exporters_of <symbol>, dependents <file>, unused_imports <file>.
  • Parses TypeScript/JavaScript via the TypeScript compiler API and Python module-level bindings.
  • Answers structural questions faster than grepping: full directory tree, exports, imports, dependents, and unused import detection.
  • Root parameter defaults to process.cwd(); recommend explicit root to avoid graphing sibling projects.
  • Install via dsh plugin CLI: add github:Luke-Yong/dsh-plugin-knowledge-graph, optionally pinned to a commit.
  • Derived from knowledge graph tool in Luke-Yong/H, adapted to DeepSeek Harness's plugin model.
