dsh-zotero is a Zotero toolkit plugin for the DeepSeek harness that turns a Zotero library into an evidence store for agents. It lets agents search a library, browse its structure, read item metadata, notes, and annotations, retrieve evidence passages, resolve attachment paths, and generate citations and bibliographies. The plugin is read-only by default and sends network requests only to the local Zotero API at 127.0.0.1:23119.

• zotero_search searches by title, author, or year across library, collection, and publications scopes; everything mode also searches the full-text index.
• zotero_browse reveals library structure: libraries, hierarchical collection trees, saved searches, tag facets, and item types with their fields.
• zotero_get reads metadata for one item, optionally returning notes, annotations, and attachment lists; fields:"all" keeps all metadata.
• zotero_retrieve returns the most relevant evidence passages for a query from annotations, notes, abstracts, and full text, with multi-attachment support.
• zotero_changes uses local transaction versions to show which items, collections, and full-text indexes changed or were deleted.
• zotero_attachment resolves an item ref to a checked disk path or linked URL; zotero_export generates citations, bibliographies, and BibTeX/BibLaTeX/RIS/CSL JSON
• Read-only by default; writing requires explicitly enabling writeEnabled, showing a plan card for approval, and a Zotero 10 local write key.
• A settings page under Settings → Zotero adjusts API address, concurrency limits, and full-text search toggles; saved changes apply immediately.
