dsh-literature is a DeepSeek Harness plugin bundle for literature research. It provides model-facing tools to search dblp and arXiv, merge and deduplicate records, resolve BibTeX, and acquire full text. It installs as @shlv/dsh-literature via dsh plugin add and includes core, dblp, arxiv, and tool packages.
- Provides three model-facing tools: literature_search, literature_bibtex, and literature_fulltext.
- Searches dblp and arXiv and merges results into one record per paper, deduped by arXiv id, DOI, or normalized title.
- Resolves titles, arXiv ids, dblp keys, or DOIs to BibTeX, preferring formal dblp, then arXiv @misc, then dblp CoRR mirror.
- Acquires full text via arXiv LaTeX source tarball, HTML5, PDF, or explicit PDF URL; stores extracted files under literature/<id>/.
- Runs literature_fulltext as a background ctx.jobs job by default and returns a job id; job_output collects the result.
- Uses one HTTP transport layer with URL hygiene, redirect controls, byte caps, and cooperative deadlines.
- Rate-limits providers: arXiv at its documented 3 s interval with exponential backoff on 429/503; one throttled source does not sink a search.
- Merged records carry stable plugin-generated ids (arxiv:, dblp:, doi:, title:) that can be passed back to literature_bibtex or literature_fulltext.
